The 21st Century Witches project exists to show everyone that people who honestly say that they are witches or some other type of Pagans are just like everyone around them in areas other than religion. First though, I want to tell you what witches and other Pagans are NOT.
Pagans are not intersted in converting others to a Pagan faith.
Pagans are not devil worshipers!
Witches do not sacrifice animals or babies.
Not all witches are Wiccan.
Not all Pagans are witches.
Pagans are not to be feared, nor do they wish to be.
Outside of our religious beliefs, the vast majority of people who follow the various
Pagan religions, often called paths, are just like the majority of other people in the
world.
Every group has its bad apples, but most people who follow the Pagan paths are gentle,
studious, nature loving people who care very much for the people they surround themselves
with.
Most Pagans love knowledge and never stop studying. We study many things outside of
religion, but favorite topics often include history, environmentalism, herbalism, holistic
healing, and yes, other religions.
Many Pagans also express themselves through various forms of creativity. We are writers,
painters, photographers, musicians, website designers, graphics artists, dancers, and
crafters of many types of things.
Pagans come from all walks of live, all races, and many nations throughout the world.
Pagans are parents, children, spouses, friends and neighbors.
Pagans also run the gamut in the workplace. We are teachers, lawyers, health care
providers, engineers, law enforcement officers, secretaries, business owners and stay at
home mothers, to name just a few of the many professions where you will find Pagans. Many
of us even serve in the military.
Caution: Photo album pages may load slowly, especially when you first visit
this site, but they are working. If the page that you are trying to view seems to have
stopped loading, please hit your "reload" or "refresh" button.
Graphics are generally slower to load than plain text, and pages with a lot of
graphics may jam, especially if you have an older computer or a slower modem.
This is unavoidable on any page dedicated to graphics. Please use the time to reflect upon
what you're about to see and why we've all worked together to create this site for you.

Even though the first page loads slowly, I ask that you visit this page of the photo album and read the introduction if this is your first time viewing the album.

Page 2 is shorter, so it loads faster, but please visit the first page of
the photo album and read the introduction, if you haven't already done so. Thanks!
